Description

Straycroft Cottage is a 17th-century or earlier cottage located at a right angle to the road. It is constructed of roughcast and plastered stone rubble or cob, with a thatched roof featuring hipped and gabled ends. The cottage has two storeys and a two-window front. It now has modern metal frame casement windows with glazing bars, and a central plank front door. A brick chimney stack is located at the gable end.
