Orchard Green is a house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed from rendered cob and features brick end stacks beneath a thatched roof. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a front that has two windows, each fitted with casement windows. To the south, there is a barn extension that also has a thatched roof.

Inside, the house boasts massive hewn beams with wide stop chamfers, a wide fireplace with a beam above it, and exposed timber framing, including a cross wall. There are window seats and a winding staircase set within a curved stone wall, as well as hewn roof members.
