Description

The Stoford headstone, dated 1754, is located approximately 8 metres south of the aisle of the Church of St Michael in Otterton. This Grade II listed headstone is made of limestone and stands upright at about 500mm high. It features a simple shaped head and has an inscription on the front, which is written in bold Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, commemorating the death of John Stoford in 1754.
