Description
Boundary Cottage is a detached cottage, possibly dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of roughcast cob on stone footings and features a hipped thatched roof. The layout likely consists of a 2- or 3-room, cross-passage plan with a rear wing. The end stacks have been replaced in the 20th century. The cottage has two storeys and a front elevation with a range of four windows. The first floor has 19th-century casement windows, while the ground floor features 20th-century casements. There is a small thatched porch at the front. The rear wing has late 20th-century casements, three of which are located on the first floor under eyebrow eaves. Additionally, there is a small open thatched roof porch and remains of a stair turret at the angle between the rear wing and the main range. A 20th-century pantiled open lean-to verandah is present at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
