Description

No. 3 Paternoster Row is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It features three square-headed dormers, two of which still have glazing bars. The structure is made of red brick and has a slate roof, complemented by a parapet with moulded coping and a cornice, as well as a band at the first floor level. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance includes a porch supported by two Tuscan columns, leading to a six-panel door that has sunk upper panels and an ornamental radial-bar fanlight, along with narrow sidelights. This building is part of a significant group of listed buildings on Paternoster Row, located opposite or near St Mary's Church.
