Description

Cornhill House, located at No. 12 Cornhill, is a building from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is two storeys high and constructed of rendered brick, topped with a hipped slate roof that features a band below the parapet. The façade includes four sash windows, and the entrance is accentuated by pilasters and an open dentil pediment. The doorcase has an arched fanlight above a six-panel door with fielded panels and panelled reveals. Access to the door is via steps that are complemented by iron handrails. The building also has a rendered plinth. Cornhill House is part of a group with Nos 2 to 6 (consecutive), and Nos 11 and 12.
