Description

No. 56 East Street is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick with a slate roof, featuring old stone slates above the eaves and coped gables. The structure stands three storeys tall and is adorned with a modillion eaves cornice. It has three ranges of sash windows, each with keystones and glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a mid-19th century square bay window. The entrance includes a panelled door framed by a moulded architrave and topped with a dentilled hood supported by shaped brackets.
