Description

No. 61 East Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of ashlar stone. It features a pitched slate roof with coped gables and stands two storeys high with attics. The first floor has four sash windows with glazing bars, and there is a central loading door that has been converted to a glazed opening. The ground floor includes a modern garage front and two openings that may have originally been doors. There are also two flat-topped attic dormers with glazing bars. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 61 to 115 (odd) and a wall from the east end of No. 115.
