Description

This is a set of three identical tomb chests located 10 metres south-south-east of Sowton Parish Church. One of the tomb chests is dated to George Moore, who died in 1821. Each tomb chest is made of stone and features three panels on each side and one panel on either end, with indented corners. They have a moulded plinth and an unmoulded lid.
