Description

Cadhay Bridge, built in 1481, connects Cadhay to the town and was constructed by John Hayden, who also built the nearby house. The bridge features three segmental arches made of brick, with a brick parapet and rounded stone cutwaters and piers. Above the cutwaters, there are brick sections that form refuges. It is believed that the current structure was rebuilt around 1674 and again after the flood of 1824.
