Description

Langford Bridge is a road bridge over the River Otter, likely built in the early 19th century, with 20th-century iron ties. It is constructed from local stone rubble, featuring limestone ashlar voussoirs and some brick used in the vault. The bridge has two spans with two plain segmental arches and low cutwaters that step back to the wall, which rises to the parapet without a stringcourse. The parapets have 20th-century concrete coping and splay out at each end. This bridge is also located in the parish of Luppitt.
