Description
Langford Bridge is a road bridge over the River Otter, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble, featuring limestone ashlar voussoirs, a pier, and cutwaters, with some brick used in the vault. The bridge has two spans with two plain elliptical arches. The low cutwaters step back to the wall, which rises straight up to the parapet without a stringcourse. The parapet is topped with 20th-century concrete coping, and it flares out at each end. There are no terminal piers.
