Description

This is an early 19th-century cottage located in Hawley Bottom, Dalwood. It is built of white-washed stone rubble with a thatched roof featuring gabled ends. The cottage has two storeys and originally had a three-window front, featuring two-light casement windows. A central glazed door provides entry. Brick chimney stacks are situated at both ends of the roof. Single-storey extensions and lean-tos have been added to both sides of the original structure.
