Description

Threshing Cottage is a cottage dating from around the 18th century. It is built of stone rubble and features a thatched half hipped roof with eyebrow eaves over the first-floor windows. The cottage has two storeys and a three-window range. The windows are 18th or 19th century three-light casements with leaded panes, while the ground floor has a single light window in the centre. At the southeast end, there is a stone thatched porch. A central red brick chimney stack is present, and there is a modern extension at the rear. The interior is said to contain an open fireplace and exposed ceiling beams.
