Description

Thorn Cottage is an 18th-century cottage constructed from painted stone rubble, featuring a thatched roof with hipped and half-hipped ends. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-window range, which includes 19th-century sash windows and one fixed light window with leaded panes. A modern glazed door is located to the left of the centre. At the top, there is a central brick ridge chimney stack. Additionally, there is a modern extension that adds one bay to the right-hand (north) end of the cottage.
