Description

Goren Farm House is a late 18th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of rendered stone with a slate roof, featuring stone coping to the gable ends and a moulded eaves cornice. A corner pilaster is present. The house has two storeys and originally comprised three bays, with sash windows containing glazing bars. The central doorcase has pilasters, a cornice, panelled reveals, a semi-circular fanlight, and a panelled door. A 19th-century wooden verandah extends across the front of the building. Rendered brick chimney stacks rise above the gable ends. A slightly earlier wing, thought to date from around the 18th century, adjoins the rear of the house to the north, with a hipped slate roof.
