Description
Summerleaze House is a farmhouse dating from the early 16th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with both hipped and gabled ends. The building stands two storeys high and has a long range of four windows, which are fitted with 20th-century casements that include glazing bars. There is a central doorway that is accompanied by a 20th-century porch.
Inside, the house boasts jointed cruck trusses and a plank and muntin screen. The ceiling features stopped chamfered beams that support an inserted floor. Additionally, there is an open fireplace with a chamfered bressummer.
