Description
Nos 6, 7, and 8 Kennet Place are three cottages dating from the 17th to 18th century. They feature diaper brickwork and have tiled roofs. Each cottage is two stories high, with one bay and a through passage. Only No 8 retains its original boarded door with a glazed panel, while No 7 has a 20th-century porch. The cottages have casement windows with segmental heads and brick dentilled eaves. There are stacks on the party wall and the right gable. No 6 includes a one-bay left extension that is one story and has an attic, with diaper brickwork concealing a timber frame that includes angle braces and clasped purlins, topped with a half-hipped roof.
