Description

No. 9 is a house dating to 1772. It is constructed with blue brick in a header bond pattern, featuring red brick quoins and dressings. The roof is thatched. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. A central 6-panelled door is set within a 20th-century glazed porch. Three-light timber windows are topped with finely gauged brick flat lintels. A recessed panel above the door contains a datestone and the initials K/E M. There are oversailing courses at the eaves and decorative patterning on the gable stacks. A 20th-century extension is located at the rear.
