Description

The entrance screen and gates to Biddesden House, located on Biddesden Lane in Ludgershall, date from the 18th century. The structure features a wall made of rendered chalkstone, topped with stone copings that support widely spaced railings with javelin points. The central gates are framed by a decorative surround and flanked by side panels, topped with a crested overthrow. The gates themselves include a central decorative band and low dog rails.
