Description

The walls to the west side of the Fruit Garden at Biddesden House date from the 18th century and run in parallel from Biddesden Lane to the hilltop gazebo. The west wall is made of cob with four lifts, resting on flint footings, and features a thatched coping. The east wall is constructed of flint on a brick base, with the top courses made of brick supporting a weathered stone coping. Both walls are approximately 2 meters high and 130 meters long.
