Description

The sundial at the front of Biddesden House is an early 18th-century structure made of limestone. It features a rectangular pedestal with fielded panelled sides and squat half balusters at each end, all set on a base. The sundial currently has a small bronze engraved plate and gnomon, which may have replaced an original statue.
