Description
The monument to the Pitt family is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 4 meters north of the porch of the Church of St John Baptist. It dates back to 1756 and is made of limestone. The tomb features a deeply projecting slab with a cyma recta moulding. The ends are adorned with gadrooned balusters, and the sides have inscription panels framed by finely carved acanthus friezes. The lettering on the inscription is incised but has partly eroded over time.
