BROKENBOROUGH MAIN STREET ST 98 NW 4/6 Monument to Pitt family in the churchyard, 4m north of porch, Church of St John Baptist GV II
Chest tomb. 1756. Limestone with deeply projecting, cyma recta moulded slab. Gadrooned balusters to ends and inscription panels to sides framed by finely carved acanthus friezes. Incised lettering, partly eroded.
