Description

A terrace of cottages built around 1890 as part of the Meux estate. The building comprises six bays and is constructed of brick with stone banding, tile hanging, and timber framing to the upper floor. It is two storeys high, with a central through entry and entrances paired within projecting 20th-century gabled sections. The doors are boarded, and the windows are three-light, paned with segmental arches above. The upper floor features fish tail tile hanging on slightly corbelled sections, and the windows are gabled above the eaves. Central and external brick gable stacks are present. Rear gabled extensions have been added to the rear, forming a single bay, and the bricks were manufactured at Totterdown. This is a well-preserved group of estate cottages.
