Description

The National Trust Shop, originally a granary associated with Manor Farm, dates from the 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of sarsen stone and brick, featuring brick dressings and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays. At each end, there are two segmental arched openings. The upper floor on the east side has brick-dressed ventilation slots that are now blocked. The gable features an oeil. Inside, there are transverse beams with ogee chamfer stops and a collar beam truss with single purlins. The building is listed primarily for its group value.
