Description
Factory Lane Farmhouse is a row of three cottages, now combined into a farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of Flemish bond brick, with a hipped thatched roof and an axial brick stack. It is two storeys high with a four-window front. The central entrance features a planked door with a blocked segmental-headed surround, flanked by two two-light segmental-headed casements. A three-brick plat band marks the first floor, above which are four two-light casements. The right return is partly constructed of rubble stone with a planked door. The left return includes a single-storey lean-to extension with a Double Roman tiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
