Description

Slough Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of cob and chalkstone, which has been rendered, and features a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high with three bays, and there is an additional single storey bay added to the right of the main structure, beyond a major stack. The central entrance is located within a trellis porch. The cottage has 20th-century timber windows set in the original openings. The roof is hipped and slopes down over the newly added right bay. There is also a weatherboarded lean-to structure against the external stack on the left gable.
