Description

Nos 3 and 3A are two houses dating from the early to mid 18th century. They are constructed of painted rubble stone and feature a Bridgwater tile roof with a ridge stack and end stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have a four-window range. The first floor displays unmoulded mullion windows, including two 2-light windows, a single light window, and another 2-light window. The ground floor consists of a 3-light window, a 2-light window, a door with a beaded surround, and another 2-light window. The windows are fitted with six-pane casements. At the south end, there is a lower addition that features a 2-light beaded mullion window at the front. The rear has a catslide roof with dormers. Historically, this house was known as the White Hart Inn, as indicated on the 1842 Tithe Map.
