Description
Two chest tombs are located in the churchyard about 13 metres north-west of the tower of the Church of St Peter. The southern tomb dates from the early 19th century and is dedicated to Joseph Blinman, who died in 1811. It features a recessed oval panel with fan motifs in the spandrels and pilasters supporting a weathered top. The northern tomb is from the 18th century and stands on a wide plinth. It has a central fielded panel with large flanking balusters and a moulded flat top that displays heraldic arms and an illegible inscription.
