6/262 Three monuments in the churchyard between 1 and 8 metres south of nave of Church of St Mary

GV II

Group of three chest tombs. C18. Limestone. North one to Jeffery Blanchard died 1746 has 2 fielded panels, quarter balusters and fluted frieze to flat top. Next south to Thomas Stevens died 1742 has 2 fielded panels with egg and dart mouldings, quarter balusters and moulded cornice to flat top. Tomb to south probably early C18; circular raised panels, pilasters with scrolled carving, moulded cornice to cyma-moulded flat top, illegible inscription.
