Description
The gate piers, gates, and flank walls at the front of Lockeridge House date from the 18th century. The gate piers are made of stone with brick panels, featuring tall upper bolection moulded panels and short dado panels. They have a wide moulded cornice and bulbous pineapple finials. The brick panels are finely gauged with white putty joints. The cast iron gates include fleur terminals on the stanchions, a centre rail, and low arrow-topped dog rails. The brick flank walls are constructed in random bond and topped with thin moulded stone copings, which sweep down on the left side to form the front garden wall.
