Description

West Overton Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It features Flemish brickwork and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high with a double pile plan, and the main elevation faces north. It has three bays, with a central part-glazed door that is framed by a slender portico. The windows are twelve-paned sashes on the ground floor and nine-paned sashes on the upper floor, all equipped with concealed boxes and gauged brick lintels. The eaves are wide, and the roof is hipped with a central well. The return elevations consist of two bays, which are similar in style but have six-paned sashes on the ground floor, likely later replacements.
