Description

Nos 76 and 77 West Overton are a row of cottages dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Originally timber framed, they have since been replaced with sarsen stone and brick dressings. The cottages feature a thatched roof and are single storey with an attic. They were originally two or more cottages, each consisting of two bays and an end entrance passage, although the doors have now been replaced with windows. The thatch extends over three flush dormers on the south side, and there are two brick stacks.
