Description

Oakfrith Cottage is a cottage located at the end of a row, dating from the late 17th century or 18th century. It features Flemish brickwork set on stone footings and has a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays, plus a fourth single-storey bay added to the right. There is a central half-glazed door framed heavily, with a reset floating moulded brick dentilled pediment above it, which has been copied over the door to the extension. The cottage has early 20th-century casement windows, with those on the ground floor featuring segmental arches. A plat band runs along the building, and it also displays a Sun Fire mark numbered 685654.
