Description

35 Wine Street is a mid to late 19th-century building situated on a triangular site, with a path at the rear leading diagonally uphill from Wine Street. The building is constructed of ashlar and stands three storeys tall. It features a deeply projecting curved cornice with a parapet and has a very large ashlar chimney stack with a curved cornice.

The façade includes three windows on the first and second floors, each with three lights, and two lights on the ground floor. The windows are framed with plain architrave surrounds and subdivided by stone mullions, with sash windows on the ground floor that include glazing bars. There is a single small pointed window located at the first-floor level at the northern apex of the building.

To the left of the main front, there is a doorway with a projecting surround. This entrance features a six-panel door that is accessed by two steps and is topped by a rectangular fanlight.
