Description

This is an early 19th century building on the south side of High Street, likely refronted in stucco during that time, concealing an earlier timber-framed house dating from the 16th or 17th century. The front has one bay and features an early 19th century flush-framed sash window on the top floor, a canted bay window on the first floor, and a plain shop front dating from around 1900. The original front of the building probably had a jettied upper story. The rear of the building is gabled and has tile hanging.
