Description
This pair of summerhouses, located to the east of Bolehyde Manor, dates from the mid-17th century. They are constructed of rubble stone with ashlar stone fronts on the north side, featuring stone-tiled roofs and coped gables with saddlestones. The west fronts have dripmoulds and each summerhouse has a pair of doors set in chamfered flush doorcases. The north summerhouse includes two quatrefoil sunk panels above the dripmould, along with a single recessed chamfer-moulded light on the ground floor and in the gable of the opposing gable ends. Additionally, there are attached low gatepiers with 20th-century iron gates. These structures are situated along the original approach to the manor.
