Description

The Dew monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 9 metres north-east of the Church of St. Leonard. It commemorates Ann Dew, who died in 1687. The tomb is made of limestone and features two round-arched panels with dropped keystones, imposts, and cable ornament on the main sides and end panels. It also has fluted corner pilasters and a cavetto-moulded flat top, making it an unusual design.
