Description

There are two chest tombs located in the churchyard, approximately 4 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. These monuments date from the early 19th century and are made of limestone. Both tombs are plain in design, featuring chamfered tables and bases. The eastern tomb is dedicated to Robert Bloxham, MD, who died in 1821, while the western tomb is for Sarah Bloxham, who died in 1803, along with their daughter.
