Description
Fitz Cottage is a detached cottage, now functioning as a tea-room, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with a tiled roof that has a half-hip on the right side and a brick stack on the left. The building has one storey and an attic, featuring two windows. The entrance is located at the rear, consisting of a planked door set in a chamfered wooden case, with a 3-light wooden mullioned window to the left. The left side of the cottage has a single recessed chamfered light on the ground floor and a 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned window in the attic. The rear, which faces the road, has two 3-light wooden mullioned windows. Attached to the left side of the cottage is a weatherboarded garage with a half-hipped tiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
