Description
Post Office Cottages is a semi-detached cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a thatched roof with a brick stack. The building is two stories high and has two windows on the front facade. The central door has been blocked, while to the right there is a three-light casement window and to the left a three-light recessed chamfered mullioned window. On the first floor, there are a two-light and a three-light casement window. The left side of the cottage has a planked door within a timber porch and a two-light mullioned window on the first floor, along with a coped verge to the roof. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension that includes a two-light casement window. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in March 1985.
