Description

COMPTON BASSETT COMPTON BASSETT VILLAGE SU 07 SW 9/157 T. White monument in churchyard, about 4m south of south-east angle of chancel of Church of St Swithin GV II Chest tomb, earlier C19, ashlar with moulded base and cornice, panelled frieze and fluted baluster angles. Concave-sided hexagonal plaque on horizontally-fluted ground with urns flanking. Inscription to Thomas White, died 1834.
