Description
The T. White monument, located in the churchyard about 4 meters south of the southeast angle of the chancel of the Church of St Swithin, is a chest tomb from the early 19th century. It is made of ashlar stone and features a moulded base and cornice, a panelled frieze, and fluted baluster angles. The monument has a concave-sided hexagonal plaque set on a horizontally-fluted ground, with urns on either side. The inscription commemorates Thomas White, who died in 1834.
