Description

Newton Toney Lodge, dating to 1909, served as the south lodge for Wilbury House. It is constructed of stucco over brick with a flat roof concealed behind a parapet. The lodge is a single-story building with a square plan, containing a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. The front elevation features a pedimented gable on the left side, with angle Tuscan pilasters supporting an entablature. This section has two 18-pane sash windows with raised architraves. To the right of the gable is an open loggia, supported by Tuscan columns in a 1:2:1 arrangement, and containing a half-glazed door on the left. The return elevation displays paired pilasters and two 18-pane sash windows. A parapet and a single chimney stack are also present.
