Description
Pilgrim's Way is a house dating from the late 17th century. It has a cob exterior faced in flint with brick dressings and a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. The main entrance features a central boarded door that leads into the main room, with a parlour to the right and a staircase located behind. There are narrow service rooms beneath the extension of the roof at the rear. The house has 19th-century casement windows and gable stacks. Above the door, there is a date panel made of cut brick that reads "1690," with shaped bricks above it.
Inside, the house features timber-framed partitions, including one that leads to the rear service passage. The staircase consists of two flights leading to the attic. The roof is constructed with two bays, clasped purlins, and chamfered collars, and there are windbraces supporting the central truss.
