Description
This building, located to the south of Patford House, is an early 18th-century house that has been altered in the mid-20th century and is now used as offices. It features a stucco exterior over limestone rubble with limestone dressings, gable stacks, and a slate roof. The house has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high with a three-window range. It is part of a designed group that includes Patford House and No. 5, from which it is set back, and it has a continuous frieze and cornice. The right-hand doorway has a bracketed pediment leading to a recessed entrance with a six-panel door. The windows have been altered, with a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window above. There is a mid-20th-century two-storey extension to the south. The interior has been altered, featuring an entrance passage and a 20th-century stair. The building is included for its group value.
