Description

Manor Farmhouse and its attached outbuildings date from around 1800 to 1820, although they have an earlier core. The house features an ashlar front with a low slate hipped roof and rear wall stacks. It has a two-storey front range and a two-storey and attic section at the rear. The formal south front has three windows, a raised plinth and band, a moulded cornice, and a parapet. The outer windows have 16 panes, while the centre first-floor window has 12 panes. The ground floor windows are set in sunk arched panels.

There is a central arched doorway in a sunk arched frame, which contains the original six-panel door topped by a traceried iron fanlight. This door is set within a projecting ashlar Roman Doric porch, featuring two columns at the front and pilaster responds. The facade is styled similarly to the work of J. Pinch I of Bath. The end walls are constructed of rubble stone.

The rubble stone rear wing has a north end stack and various windows with heavily moulded surrounds on the west side. The main house's rear has low pitched gables above two attic six-pane windows, three first-floor twelve-pane sashes, and a ground floor door with a sixteen-pane sash to the right, along with two 20th-century windows to the left, all featuring flush unmoulded surrounds.

To the northwest, connected to the rear wing by a low link, is a rubble stone barn range with coped gables, an upper oval light, a loading door, and a ground floor window and door, followed by three doors with segmental arched rubble stone heads.
