Description
The Old Post Office is a house that possibly dates from the late 17th century. It has been altered and is constructed of rubble stone that was formerly roughcast, topped with a thatched roof and featuring end wall and ridge stacks. The building has two storeys. The west front includes, on the right side, a two-light recessed ovolo-mullion window and a large casement window in a flush surround, positioned above a plank door and a similar casement. The left side of the building projects and has had all its openings renewed in the 20th century, featuring a range of two windows with a gable on the right and an eyebrow dormer on the left. There is a door on the ground floor to the left and a pair of large casement windows to the right, with two pairs of casement windows above.
