Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century, with a 17th-century east end. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a slate roof, coped gables, and end wall stacks on the main range, while the east end range has stone tiles, a coped gable, and a ridge stack. The main range is two storeys tall at the front and has a three-window range of 16-pane sashes set in flush surrounds. There is a central arched-head doorway with impost blocks, which has been partially infilled with a window and features a traceried fanlight above. The window to the right has been cut down and a door has been inserted in its place. A glazed lean-to conservatory-porch is located at the front.
The rear of the farmhouse is three storeys high, with three 12-pane attic windows, four 16-pane windows on the first and ground floors, and a central five-panel door. The east end range is two storeys and has ovolo-mullion windows, with a two-light window on the first floor and a three-light and two-light window flanking the central door on the ground floor. The east end wall features a 20th-century or renewed five-light window and a three-light window above. The rear has a single light on the first floor, a two-light window on the ground floor, a door, and a 19th-century six-pane sash window.
