Description

Martins' Nest is a house dating from the earlier 19th century, constructed of rubble stone and featuring a hipped slate roof with a rear wall stack. The house is double-fronted and two storeys high, with pointed-arched openings. Each floor has a pair of casement windows with Y-tracery, and a central 20th-century glazed door. A pointed window is also present on the east side. The building is listed for group value and its very prominent location on a hillside.
