Description
Brook Cottage is an early 19th-century house built of rubble stone with Bridgwater tile roofs. The main section features coped gables and end wall stacks, while there is a parallel front range to the right that includes a ridge stack. The building has two storeys and unmoulded flush mullion windows. On the left side, there are three two-light windows on the first floor and a two-light window, a 20th-century door, a four-light window, and a single light on the ground floor. The parallel front range to the right has three single-light windows on the upper floor, a door, and a single light beneath, along with two doors to the right. The long rear elevation is divided into two sections; the right side features four upper two-light windows and a ground floor three-light window, with a door in a chamfered surround and a four-light window. The left side has a single light, two two-light windows, and a single light on both floors. The windows throughout are fitted with leaded lights. The building was likely converted from a range of cottages.
